Flow Cytometry (FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Functional Studies (Func)

Clone

MIC2-4 (3C4)
  • Specificity

This antibody recognises intercellular adhesion molecule-2 (ICAM-2), also known as CD102. Clone mIC2/4 is reported to inhibit interactions between CD102 and LFA-1.

    Purification

    Affinity chromatography on Protein G

    Endotoxin Level

    Low Endotoxin

    Immunogen

COS cells transfected with murine ICAM-2. Spleen cells from immunised Lewis rats were fused with cells of the Mouse P3X63Ag8.653 myeloma cell line.

    Isotype

    IgG2a
  • Application Notes

Flow Cytometry: 1/50 - 1/200, Use 10 μL of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 μL. Immunoprecipitation. Functional Assays.
    Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. Further Comments: Endotoxin Level: less than 0.01 EU/ug

  • Target

    ICAM2 (Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 2 (ICAM2))

    Alternative Name

    CD102 / ICAM2

    Background

Murine CD102 is a glycosylated cell surface protein that is broadly expressed on most leucocytes and is constitutively expressed on endothelial cells. CD102 interacts with the CD11a/CD18 integrin LFA-1. Reports suggest that CD102 may play a role in lymphocyte re-circulation and T-cell activation.Synonyms: ICAM-2, Intercellular adhesion molecule 2
